Fotini Gaitanidou was born and raised in Germany. She acquired the title of dentist in 1999 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She continued her studies there and completed her specialization at the department of Periodontal Surgery, Implant Surgery and Radiology (oral surgery) in 2001. Following examinations at The National Ministry of Health, she received the title of specialization in Oral Surgery. She has received training in special techniques in surgery and has followed practical and theoretical seminars in prosthetics and cosmetic dentistry in Greece and abroad.
She is an active member of the Oral Surgery Association.
She acquired her license to practice as a dentist in Germany (Approbationsurkunde erfüllt die Voraussetzungen des § 2 des Gesetzes über die Ausübung der Zahnheilkunde), upon the completion of exams at the German Dental Association (Bavaria) in 2018 κατόπιν εξετάσεων as well as in Switzerland.
